Hoover Vision Center Reopening!

We are excited to announce that we will be officially reopening May 4th 2020, as the Governor of Alabama, the Alabama Department of Health, and the Alabama Board of Optometry have lifted the COVID-19 quarantine. Our first priority is the safety of our patients and staff.

The following changes will be implemented immediately and for the foreseeable future:

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
You will receive a text and phone call directly from our office regarding the COVID-19 Protocol. If you are currently experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 or are feeling unwell, you will be expected to reschedule. If you have sick family members or if you are aware that you have been around anyone exposed, you will be expected to reschedule.

We will require all patients and staff to wear a face mask.

Upon arrival, call or text our office and remain in your vehicle. We will notify you when we are ready for you to come inside.
We are asking that ONLY patients come into the office, unless you are a minor or in need of special assistance, in which case only 1 companion may accompany the patient.

We will take your temperature at the door to ensure you do not have a fever and you will be escorted into to the clinic.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Patients are asked to NOT stop at the front desk for appointments. Appointments will be scheduled and sent by email or text. If the appointment time is not convenient, please call to reschedule.

Payments may be left at the front desk. Credit cards can be used as a method of payment and may also be handled by phone.
Any important information regarding patient treatment will be relayed by phone, email or text.

Finally, please note we will be practicing distancing and we will be limiting the number of patients in the office. Our staff will be adhering to the same screening procedures daily.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility and can’t wait to see you and your family again!
